There has been a lot of discussion about whether or not electronic cigarettes are just another money making scam or if they are in fact a legitimate product that can help people. Just to set the record straight, Electronic Cigarettes themselves are not scams. I personally use them, and I like them, a lot. However, if you’re thinking of buying an electronic cigarette (also known as e cigarettes), there are a couple things you need to watch out for.
First off, electronic cigarettes have been around for a while in various incarnations. However, recently the technology has advanced quite a bit. Some of the older versions of electronic cigarettes are not very good and users have reported a number of bad experiences. This old discussion sometimes carries over and unfairly tarnishes the reputation of the contemporary products on the market.
Secondly, there are a number of companies selling very similar looking devices that are all labeled as electronic cigarettes, but where the products themselves vary in how – and how well – they work. To make matters even more confusing, all of the electronic cigarette companies that I am aware of are manufacturing in China, but what you want to look for are the very few e-cigarettes that are manufactured in American run facilities located in China rather than Chinese companies themselves. It’s our opinion that this gives you more accountability, not to mention helps keep more American dollars here in the country.
You may also want to be cautious when considering a “free trial” program. Many of these so-called “free trials” are not free at all, and often have many hidden charges such as automatically enrolling you in a refill program that you may not wish to be enrolled in. This is not to say that there are not legitimate programs out there, only to warn you to apply caution when considering a free trial for any electronic cigarette.
Which brings me to my final piece of advice regarding electronic cigarettes, price. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for. And from what I have found electronic cigarettes are no different. That being said, there is a ceiling, and you don’t need to pay more than $80 – $90 to get a quality starter kit. You may find electronic cigarettes as low as $60 or less; however purchase them at your own risk and make sure they have a reliable warranty program.
We searched high and low before settling on a brand to distribute. We feel that METRO is a brand that provides a quality device at a very good price. The warranty program is excellent and the product is reliable. As the leading online distributor of METRO Cigarettes we also pledge to offer customer service that is second to none.
